However, he senses you are special unlike him and can't help but feel jealous. He was born in the Kaleila diplomat's home, but a tragedy occurred while he was outside and lost his family and sister Meenya. His jealousy towards you drives him to trust the demon's lies about bringing back his sister and he hands the Book over to him. Feeling regret for betraying you, he risks his life to retrieve the lost pages as apology. To make up for his sin, Rex leaves to retrieve the lost town pages in the world. As promised, he gets back all the missing pages.
Background:
- Rex is Tia's/Yumil's best friend and also lives in the slums, although he was born in the house of a diplomat. Because of a tragedy, his family and little sister Meenya were killed. When he notices that you are special and the Chosen One, he gets jealous. Later in the game, he steals the Book of Prophecy for Valdo because he was promised that he could bring Meenya back to life. After the catastrophe happened, he realizes his sin and helps you to get the lost pages back.
Appearance:
- Rex has blue short hair and red eyes. He wears a red pullover and braces as well as an olive green trousers with buckles. His shoes resemble those of an aristrocrat. As many other characters, he wears gloves (purple) and two bags.
Personality:
- Rex is bitter and dark and hates the world and everyone special e.g. the nobles. For the hero/heroine he is like a brother, because they're in the same situation (living in the slums). He's angry and jealous when you become the Chosen One of the Book of Prophecy, because he's alone now and trusted you. Deep down he never absorbed the loss of his little beloved sister Meenya. He steals the Book of Prophecy for Prince Valdo, because he promised Rex that he could bring Meenya back to life. As Rex realizes this lie, it's already to late and the grudge against himself grows deeper. He vows you to find the lost pages and is searching for them in order to be forgiven. Later in the game, he accepts that you haven't changed, even though you are the Chosen One and Rex isn't jealous anymore.

Walking in Central Park in the upper area, Rex greets the protagonist. He wonders what the book that he or she is holding is for, asking if it's to become educated, and then angrily states that no matter how hard someone works, they'll never be rewarded and that they're too naïve. They can either agree or disagree.
If they say "You might be right," he will say that no matter what, he'll always have the protagonist's back because they're best fiends. Antique Doll:
